Community Service Programs of West Alabama, Inc. (CSP), is a private, nonprofit, community action agency, created by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.

CSP's Social Services department aids families with direct assistance or with referrals to other agencies for additional benefits.

CSP administers educational programs that prepare children to develop and learn to their fullest potential. These programs include Early Intervention and Head Start.

Innovative programs are increasingly necessary to provide working families the opportunity to obtain decent, safe and affordable housing.
